Sample Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Japan
Arrive in Tokyo and begin your adventure. After landing, we'll make our way toward the Japanese Alps and settle into our mountain accommodations. The journey itself offers a first glimpse into daily life in Japan as we transition from bustling cityscapes to snow-covered mountain valleys.
Day 2 – First Turns in Hakuba
Wake up in Japan's winter wonderland and hit the slopes. We'll begin exploring the legendary terrain of Hakuba, known for its breathtaking scenery, excellent snow, and variety of resort experiences.
After skiing, unwind in a traditional hot spring and enjoy your first evening in the mountains.
Day 3 – Explore New Terrain
Today we'll continue discovering what makes Hakuba one of Japan's most famous ski destinations. With multiple resorts connected throughout the valley, there is always something new to explore.
The day ends as many great ski days should—with good food and a soak in a nearby onsen.
Day 4 – Chase the Best Conditions
One of the advantages of a small group is flexibility.
Rather than following a rigid schedule, we'll choose the day's destination based on weather, snowfall, and group preferences, maximizing the opportunities for great skiing and memorable experiences.
Day 5 – Snow Monkeys or Free Day
After several active days on the mountain, guests may choose to enjoy a more relaxed pace.
An optional excursion to the famous Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park offers the chance to see wild Japanese macaques bathing in natural hot springs—a uniquely Japanese winter experience.
Guests who prefer to ski can spend another day exploring the slopes.
Day 6 – Return to the Mountains
With several days of local knowledge behind us, we'll continue exploring Hakuba's extensive network of resorts, hidden corners, and favorite runs.
Whether conditions call for groomers, powder, tree skiing, or scenic cruising, there is something here for every winter traveler.
Day 7 – Final Day in Snow Country
One last opportunity to enjoy Hakuba's mountains before returning to the city.
We'll celebrate the week with great food, stories from the slopes, and one final evening immersed in mountain-town life.
Day 8 – Tokyo Bound
Trade mountain views for city lights as we board the Shinkansen and travel to Tokyo.
Upon arrival, we'll begin exploring one of the world's most fascinating cities before enjoying an evening dinner cruise and skyline views across Tokyo Bay.
Day 9 – Discover Tokyo
Experience a different side of Japan through cultural activities, historic neighborhoods, and modern landmarks.
Highlights may include a traditional tea ceremony, local shopping districts, hidden restaurants, and panoramic views from Tokyo Skytree.
It's a chance to see how tradition and innovation coexist in modern Japan.
Day 10 – Farewell Japan
Enjoy one final morning in Tokyo before departing for home.
